Moto-Build Racing was originally set up to cater for the growing needs of discerning MG Saloon owners who wished to improve the performance of their MG Maestro and MG Montego, we still supply a vast range of services for these cars.

That was back in 1986 and to learn more and develop products for these cars we embarked upon a competition programme, first of all starting with a 1600 MG Maestro, little were we to know at the time just how successful that race series would become, with hundreds of competitors following our lead and taking part over the years, the MG Maestro racing championship is still going strong 15 years later!

This has brought us almost full circle with 2003 seeing us prepare a brace of MG ZR 160's for competition in the MGOC racing championship, ironically in the same race as those Maestros from all those years ago!
In between times we have converted just about every Rover based model in production , plus the Lotus Elise, MGF and Freelander. It is with great excitement that we now find ourselves in a position to offer a range of performance equipment and accessories that we have been developing for all the new Z series MGs over the last year.
